The Taiwanese Menopause Society was founded in March 1995 with Professor Ko-En Huang serving as the founding president. Currently, there are 250 active members, with mostly in gynecology practice. The major activities of this society are to provide updated information and guidelines about menopause care to both the health-care providers and the public. Our main objective is to maintain good health and quality of life of postmenopausal women in Taiwan. The Taiwanese Menopause Society has been a member in the International Menopause Society (IMS) and our members have been actively attending many international menopausal meetings worldwide.
